Joe Maher/Getty Images for Bauer MediaThe 2020 edition of the Brit Awards, the U.K. equivalent of the Grammys, took place Tuesday in London, and Rod Stewart was on hand to bring the ceremony to a rousing conclusion with some help from the fellow surviving members of his 1970s band The Faces.

Stewart hit the stage, backed by a full orchestra, and declared, "This show may be 40 years old, but The Faces are now 50 years old…There used to be five of us. There's only three of us now, so let me bring up [guitarist] Ronnie Wood and [drummer] Kenney Jones."

Rod added, "This is the moment you've all been waiting for, folks: the end of the show!" before the musicians kicked into The Faces' classic 1971 hit "Stay with Me."

You can check out video of the performance on YouTube.

The Faces previously performed together at The Brit Awards in 1993, with a lineup that featured founding members Stewart, Wood, Jones and keyboardist Ian McLagan, along with Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman filling in for Ronnie Lane. Lane died from complications of multiple sclerosis in 1997, and McLagan passed away in 2014 from a stroke.
